The government gets its money easy and spends big. Just look at the $100k to $400k Albert Park tree stupidity. It will not be long when the stamp duty slows that the reality of cash burn will hit and wow Victoria will be a rust bucket again.
Bracks means Tax.
Stamp Duty receipts have already slowed right down so John Brumby has had to invent a CBD car parking tax of $800.00 per car p.a. to make up some of the difference. This CBD Tax extends kilometres from the CBD.
Meanwhile he's been picked up on his Land Tax pea and thimble trick and will have to back off there too to some degree. Look out Property Owners they'll be inventing another Tax shortly to replace "lost" Land Tax.
I oppose tolls on the Scorseby Freeway!!!!!
