Six Hundred Cattlemen Protest Bracks

The Latte Party might laugh at them, but they really do represent a way of life, not necessarily the romantic "Man From Snowy River" way of life, but a way of life which involves things the Latte Party don't understand, like hard work, real danger and engagement with nature (as opposed to retreat from it).

Read about the protest.

Wait till the Geelong rail commuters get their heads out of the local Addy paper and start to realise that they have been totally sandbagged by this incompetent bunch of no hopers that seem to think they can run this State! We will pick up four minutes time on TWO services - one to Melbourne (leaving too late for most serious commuters) and one on the return route. Some other time savings by MISSING OUT ON SOME STATION STOPS!
Another month now with NO rail service -while they fiddle with the signals.
The level of incompetency is only surpassed by the level of dishonesty of the spin doctors writing Peter Batchelor's press releases. Stand aside Cattlemen - the rail commuters demand some attention.
Roll on 2006 - an election looms!!!

good luck, whats Doyle's electioneering slogan this time. "Violent Crime up 45%!" again. "Let's bankrupt the State by building the tollway out of government revenues, or is that borrowings?"
